Thanks so much for stopping by—feel free to stay awhile! After many years as an elementary teacher, Megan is now a full-time mama and children's book author. When she's not writing or wrangling her four small children, then she's probably drawing, imagining her next story, or losing herself in a new book. She's always loved stories. She has vivid memories of sitting on the library floor, in the children’s fantasy section. It was there she found herself completely at home amongst dragons, castles, wizards and magic. Since then, fantastical stories seemed to have made a habit of bouncing around in her head with remarkable persistence. Megan currently lives in Northern California with her four fantastically rambunctious sons, one dog, and two cats. She is represented by Joanna Volpe at New Leaf Literary. |
8 Fun Facts About Megan1. When I was in 3rd grade, I drew comic books called "The Candy Wars" which included M&M's battling Skittles.
2. I don't like coffee. 3. The first chapter book I read as a kid was "A Castle In the Attic" by Elizabeth Winthrop. 4. I sleep with two stuffed animals : a teddy bear and a large pillow "Sven" (the reindeer from Frozen). 5. I wear flip flops almost every day of the year, unless it's raining. I live in Northern California, where it's sunny mostly year-round. |

6. One of my favorite foods is a tater tot burrito, something my dad taught me to make. Tater tots + shredded cheese + ketchup = rolled up in a tortilla.
7. I have traveled to 12 different countries : Mexico, Brazil, Ireland, The Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Germany. Poland, Estonia, China, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
